Inaugural Trust Music Festival

Posted on 08/02/2019

We were delighted to welcome the Scholars' Education Trust community to the inaugural Music Festival, an evening of music and dance.

"All the schools in SET believe that access to the arts is an incredibly important part of providing our students with a fully rounded education and are very proud that we are able to offer that access in a wide variety of ways. We also believe in that we are stronger when we collaborate"
Claire Robins
CEO Scholars' Education Trust

The evening was a fabulous showcase of the tremendous talent from across all the schools within the trust, including renditions of The Beach Boys and Abba courtesy of Sir John Lawes School and a showstopping Greatest Showman medley from our youngest students at Harpenden Academy. Robert Barclay Academy enthralled the audience with their We Will Rock You set and Samuel Ryder Academy took to the stage with a lyrical dance performance and crowd pleasing recital from Disney's Moana. The climax of the evening was the unforgettable performance from the Scholars' Education Trust Massed Choir.

Our gratitude to everyone that attended the evening in the wonderful setting of The Alban Arena and also to all the staff and students from across the trust who have worked so hard over the last few months.
